MSU's Sexual Assault Program (SAP) Summer Volunteer Information

MSU Sexual Assault Program is requesting applications for its summer volunteer training sessions. You do NOT need to be affiliated with MSU to volunteer, and if you're interested in learning more there is an information session on Wednesday, May 10 at 5pm in Room 6 Student Services Bldg.

The MSU Sexual Assault Program has volunteer positions that will help you develop practical, work-related skills while providing essential services to people in need and reducing violence in the campus community. Service areas include:

  • 24-hour crisis line
  • Medical advocacy
  • Peer education and outreach
  • Office support

SACI advocates must complete the foundational 40-hour training and the additional 5-hour Medical Advocacy trianing before providing crisis intervention services. Applications are due Friday, May 12, and the training dates are:

May 20, 9am-5pm
May 21, 9am-5pm
May 24, 6-10pm
May 31, 6-10pm
June 3, 9am-5pm
June 4, 9am-5pm
