  • Core Affiliates have a substantial focus on gender and/or sexuality demonstrated in their teaching, research, or other responsibilities.
  • Consulting Affiliates need only express an interest in gender and/or sexuality issues.

Resources for Affiliates

We offer the following resources and opportunities to our affiliates:

  • Receive support for grant applications and post-award management.

  • Gain access to GenCen's D2L curriculum resource library.

Apply to Become a GenCen Affiliate

If you would like to become an affiliate, please fill out our affiliate application form.

GenCen's Advisory Board reviews applications once a year - usually in October or November - after we have received our applications from MSU's new faculty and staff following fall orientation. If you submit an application after this period, we usually will not review it until the next fall. Still, please feel free to apply using this form throughout the year and we will save your application for the next time our Advisory Board reviews new applicants.

If you have a pressing need to become an affiliate or have questions about becoming an affiliate, you can reach out to our research team by emailing isp.gencen.research(at)msu.edu.
