Read Biography

Biography: Rebecca Irvine (she/her) is the Interim Associate Director of the Center for Gender in Global Context (GenCen) at MSU and serves as the Gender and Inclusion Liaison for Global IDEAS. In her roles, Rebecca is responsible for connecting and supporting a network of interdisciplinary scholars, community partners, and NGOs by assisting in the development and conduct of gender transformative and inclusive research. She holds a BA in International Relations from James Madison College at MSU, an MA in Comparative Ethnic Conflict and a PhD in Sociology and Social Policy from Queen's University Belfast, where she was a founding member of the Disability Research Network.
