The GenCen Advisory Committee works to provide advice and support for the co-directors. The committee may be called to advise on critical matters of GenCen policy and programs. The committee will be asked to convene for meetings with the GenCen co-directors, usually two times per semester.
The voting members of the GenCen Advisory Committee consist of eight Core Faculty members, one graduate student member, and one undergraduate student member. These faculty are comprised from units across campus, including:
Three additional units provide ex-officio, non-voting members: the Center for Advanced Study of International Development (CASID), the WorkLife Office, and the Lesbian, Bisexual, Gay, and Transgender (LBGT) Resource Center.
Each year, potential committee members are nominated by existing Core Faculty. Committee members are then elected by the body of Core Faculty.
