Ann ChrapkiewiczAnn assists students with the following areas of study: Women's and Gender Studies Major and Minor; and Gender, Justice and Environmental Change (GJEC) Graduate Specialization. Ann completed her M.A. in Anthropology in 2010 (MSU) and is now a doctoral student in the Department of Anthropology. Her research interests include systems of healing and health maintenance; yoga practices in the U.S., authoritative knowledge; embodied experience; gender, and the intersections of medicine, religion, and socioeconomic class. Ann earned an M.A. in Japanese Studies (UM-Ann Arbor) and a B.A. in Literature and Cultural Studies (Duke University). |
