Our Gender, Justice, and Environmental Change (GJEC) Program is pleased to announce fellowships for MSU graduate students for the 2017-18 academic year. Please visit our Student Funding page to find application requirements! Funding provided by MSU's Graduate School has allowed for the development of four fellowships in the following categories:
GJEC Dissertation Research Fellowship (Funded up to $10,000)
GJEC Dissertation Completion Fellowship (Funded at $8,500)

The Inspirational Woman of the Year Award recognizes the achievements of women staff and faculty affiliated with Michigan State University. The award highlights woman-identified individuals who demonstrate integrity, leadership, quality performance, integrative and inclusive action, and influence on campus and in the community. Three individuals will be honored—one per category of Professional Achievement, Community Engagement, and Culture of Empowerment. Meet our winners:

The Center for Gender in Global Context conducts this annual undergraduate student paper/project competition, named to honor former women's rights activist and MSU Women's Studies scholar Mary Anderson, who lost her battle with breast cancer in 1993. The competition is designed to stimulate research in gender studies and to recognize outstanding work by a young scholar in the field.
