MSU's LGBTQ Campus Climate Survey

MSU conducted an LGBTQ Campus Climate Survey in Fall 2010. The MSU community was given the opportunity to participate in a comprehensive survey of climate for lesbian, bisexual, gay and transgender people. 1,051 surveys were collected from students, faculty, and staff.

On Wednesday, September 29, an MSU LBGTQ Climate Symposium was held to discuss the results of the survey. Susan Rankin from Penn State University is serving as a consultant on the project, and discussed survey results at the Climate Symposium.

The survey was sponsored by the Office for Inclusion and Intercultural Initiatives, GLFSA (GLBT Faculty, Staff and Graduate Student Association), GenCen, GenCen's LGBTQ Task Force, and the LBGT Resource Center.
PrideSource ran an article (http://www.pridesource.com/article.html?article=43561) on the LGBT Report resulting from the LGBTQ Campus Climate Survey.
