On April 19th, the GenCen will be hosting a virtual methods panel entitled "Feminist Equitable Practices In the Field: Global Lessons".

The panelists are:

They bring together their many experiences of navigating fieldwork in Asia, Africa and Middle East.

GenCen Faculty Fellows Program: Call for Applications

The GenCen Faculty Fellows teach Women's & Gender Studies (WS) courses and receive support for their scholarship in gender, sexuality, and feminist studies.

Fellows join the GenCen from a number of Colleges across the university. We currently have openings for faculty from the College of Arts and Letters and the College of Social Science.

Fellows will teach one course per year for a two-year commitment, starting with the 2025-2026 academic year, and each will receive $3000 annually for their research and scholarship. 

 

Interested faculty should submit the following materials:

  • Cover letter describing their training in and connection to women's and gender studies and their interest in teaching WS courses.
  • Current CV
  • Sample syllabus
  • Statement from their home department chair indicating unit support for the faculty member to serve as a GenCen fellow.
