Registration for the full two-day conference includes breakfast and lunch both days. (Please note, MCEDSV makes every effort to design group meals and meet special dietary needs and requests to the best of their ability working with the host venue. It is not possible to customize meals for all individual meal types and requests.)

MCEDSV is a statewide membership organization whose members represent a network of more than 70 domestic and sexual violence programs and over 200 allied organizations and individuals. They have provided leadership as the statewide voice for survivors of domestic and sexual violence and the programs that serve them since 1978. MCEDSV is dedicated to the empowerment of all the state's survivors of domestic and sexual violence. Their mission is to develop and promote efforts aimed at the elimination of all domestic and sexual violence in Michigan.

This year's conference will feature presentations and workshops under the theme of Justice in Action. Featured speakers include Adrienne Adams, MSU Department of Psychology/Research Consortium on Gender-Based Violence, on the topic of Economic Justice; Meg Garvin, National Crime Victim Law Institute at Lewis & Clark School, on the topic of Justice in Action; Lieutenant Mark Wynn, Nashville TN, on the topic of Law Enforcement Response...Making the Law Keep its Promise; Nkiru Nnawulezi, U of Maryland Department of Psychology, on the topic of Race, Racism, and Domestic Violence Shelters; Eric Stiles, National Sexual Violence Resource Center, on the topic of Changing the Conversation: What is Justice?; and Kalimah Johnson, SASHA Center Detroit, on the topic of Where is the Outrage? Right Here Waiting for us to Wage Love.
